Under the smart traffic management, traffic police has decided to install the detection of a violation of the red light (RLVD rooms) and visual updated at 13 new locations in the city.
"We have identified sites in the city which is witnessing heavy traffic during the day.The traffic control and improve the traffic system in and around ciudad.Habíamos launched a tender for the installation of cameras at 13 new traffic intersections," said Additional Director of Police (Traffic) Pankaj Shrivastava.
"It's part of their plan to control the growing number of accidents and a private agency that has been take care of the management and maintenance RLVD system and installed in new locations."
RLVD system will be installed in Saifi, Kothari market, auto market Excise Shastri way to the Supreme Court, Malganj, Navlakha, Chhawani, GPO, highways department Sathya Sai Square agriculture, industry and home of MR-9. A group of about 15 cameras RLVD each of these sites, and will be a dome camera pan and zoom in on each of the sites. The dome cameras are used for surveillance purposes, while cameras will be used RLVD to check traffic violations.
The project will include the installation of 60 lakh rupees 150 camera in all parts of the city. Said Kapil Gangal, Technosys Security Project Manager, TOI, "We are close to the completion of the installation of the cameras, we will conduct software testing system will be operational soon, we can also be used to understand the situation in the overcrowded areas easily and the police department can act accordingly."
RLVD system and successfully operates in 15 locations in the city of Jerusalem, and the establishment of more than two lakh electronic Shala. About 5,000 e-Shala generated daily by RLVD system. Therefore, it has brought more than Rs1crore of the Department of Traffic Police. Currently, the system works RLVD square at the Radisson Hotel, Palasia, lantern, Pipliyahana, Hukumchand, Benagli, Geeta Bhawan, Plaza de la Torre, Shivaji VATIKA, Bhawarkuan, Mhow Naka, Regal Plaza, Mriganayanee, Palsikar In Indraprastha.
It works on sensors and radars and cameras RLVD critical system not only to catch those who violate traffic rules sequence, but also to maintain law and order. Officials said the installation of the basic goals for RLVD and surveillance cameras to monitor the movement of vehicles and accidents negative, and the crowds, sectarian unrest and search for wanted criminals.
